Armoured fibre patch leads are a robust alternative to standard or ruggedised flat twin cables for harsh environments. Available in duplex armoured ZIP for internal use or round armoured external/internal versions. Both types are high impact crush resistant with a steel armour flexible tube and aramid yarn strength members providing added protection over and above standard or ruggedised patch leads whilst remaining compact and flexible.
Manufactured and tested in a controlled factory environment. Low loss ceramic ferrule LC, SC, ST, FC, E2000 and APC connectors with strain relief boots. Transmit and Receive legs are identified by a ring cable marker or by markings on the duplex clip.
Duplex Armoured ZIP: With twin ZIP (Duplex) LSZH steel tube armoured cable. 3mm OD cable x 2 with 900um fibres surrounded by Aramid Yarn strength members. For applications where a more robust but still flexible LSZH construction is needed such as long line applications or where frequent handling is required. Available in multimode OM1, OM3, OM4, OM5 & singlemode OS2.
Round Armoured External/Internal: A single round 2 core compact 3mm diameter UV stable black LSZH sheath with steel tube armouring and Aramid Yarn strength members for external or internal applications. Robust construction is ideal for external and long line applications or where frequent handling is required. Available in multimode OM3 & singlemode OS2 versions.
